Android Income Report #16 (April)

hi,

This month I have not worked with my applications , my developing computer is broken and I can not work with my applications with the notebook. I have begin to work again an enterprise as programmer analyst. The job is ok :) .  The works on the floor have finished :) . For this month I will try to buy a new computer and begin again to develop android applications. I have learned new tricks to increase my income and I want to try the tricks.

My total month income increased again little bite, exactly 10,69 %. So I have made an Income of 121,72 $ it suposes a new month record. I’m very happy with this result another month that my income increases. Month to month that at the end of the year I will have a positive balance greater than 1000 $.

The active application number increase a (15,06 %) , this numbers is only for the applications in android market. Total ads impressions increase for sixth month consecutive (3,37 %). I have not arrived to the 125$ objective but an increase of 10’69 % is a good increase :) .

I have beggined to intall my applications on Samsung market but they are very slowly to approve it. If the next month is published I will explain the results. This month I will try to publish the applications on Amazon ;) . Now I will reflect the downloads different markets for this month.

This month I will try to buy the new computer and try to publish new applications and aply the tricks learned to increase the ads income. For the next month I will try to arrive to 135 $. If I have time to improve the new tricks to my applications and publish it’s i will try to pass the 200 $ but I think I will have not enough time to improve this new tricks learned.

Android Income Report #15 (May)

hi,

This month I have not worked with my applications so my income is the same as the last month, but I have some news I have found a new Job as developer-analyst :) so the 7 th of this month I will begin to work again. Another new is that I have moved to the new apartment but now we start with the works of the floor. So with the stress of work and the new work does not think I have much time this month to improve or expand my applications.

My total month income increased a little bite, exactly 3,93 %. So I have made an Income of 109,96 $ it suposes a new month record. I’m very happy with this result another month that my income increases. Month to month that at the end of the year I will have a positive balance greater than 1000 $.

The active application number increase a (15,18 %) and the total ads impressions increase for fifth month consecutive (3,37 %). But not all is positive this month my adsense income falls a  58% and I have not arrived to the month objective that I stablished to 120$ but I’m happy to increase a little my income respect the last month. So for next month I hope to arrive to 125$.

I have installed all my applications in slideme. And I’m very happy with this market the 20% of the installs comes from this market and the 80% from andoid market. I have not searched more markets maybe this month I will look for more markets.

This month I have arrived to the 100.000 downloads yujuuuuuuuuuu.

This month I will be very stressed with the new job and the home works so I will not have too much time to increase my blog content and my android applications but i will try to arrive again to the 110 $ and why not?¿?¿ try to arrive to the 125 $

Android Income Report #14 (March)

hi,

I’m very very very happy with this last month. My adsense income increased, my android income increased, and the traffic of this blog increased.

My total month income increased very much, exactly  134,53 %.  So I have made an Income of 105,8 $ a new month record :) and that is not all I increased my dayly record to 6,5 $ in one day it’s not much but this month i’m very happy with the results obtained . I’m very happy with this result and I want to increase it month to month with this income I no doubt that at the end of the year I will have a positive balance greater than 1000 $.

The active application number  increase a (18,11 %) and the total ads impressions increase very much for fourth month consecutive (68,95 %). With all this numbers I’ pleased to say that I have overpassed the month objective that I stablished to 50$. So for next month I hope to arrive to 120$.

This month I have finished to install Flurry to all my applications so in the future I will study all the stadistics.

I have begined to install my applications in a new android market the name of this market is slide me it’s soon to obtain a conclusion because I begined to add my applications in this market the last two days of the month, but the stats for this two days are very good.

Slide me: 715 downloads in 2 days (4 applications published).

getjar: 9 downloads full month (1 application published).

android market: 16744 downloads full month (16 applications published)

With this results I decided to publish all my applications in “slide me” and for the moment i will not publish more applications in getjar. This month I will search more markets and I will continue publishing the results in the blog. This month I will arrive to the 100.000 downloads :) yujuuuuuuuuuu at the moment I have 95338 downloads.

This month I must to move to my new flat and I will not have too much time to increase my blog content and my android applications but i will try to arrive again to the 100 $ and why not?¿?¿ try to arrive to the 120 $

Only to say that for this month I have and negative balance that is because I pay part of my hostings and domains and I bought an android book to continue learning. In the future I will explain in this page things that I learned with the book. This month the visits to this blog fall down, so I will work a little more in the blog to try to growth the number of visits adding more content to the blog.

Tricks to increase your income III (Admob)

In the previous article (Tricks to increase your income II)  of Android developer tutorial we saw how to increase your application downloads with Seo technologies. In the next article we will explain another trick to continue increasing the income of your applications.

In this post I will explain two basic tricks to increase the ”fill rate”. Fill rate refers to the number of ads displayed versus the number of ads requested by the application. If the fill rate increases the income will increase. with this two that I will explain I increase my fill rate from 40% to 100% as you can see in the next image.

The first thing that you must do to increase the fill rate from 40% to 98% is to activate the use of google ads to all our applications. For do that you must log in to your admob account an go to the option manage settings from our application  after that click to app settings tab and we will see the next:

 

we must select the option “Use Google ads and Google certified ad networks to improve fill rate. I have read and agree to the Google AdSense Terms and Conditions” as we can see in the image below, with this step we are giving permission to admob to use google ads, so when admob didn’t have ads admob will use google ads.

The Second step to increase our fill rate to 100% is to create self application campaigns the only requirement to do this is to have more than one application. To do that we must to go to our admob account and click on “House Ads” under the tab “Sites & app”. After that we click to create new house ad. And then we must configure the number of ads to publish and the date period to publish.  Don’t care about extra costs that service is totally free.

I hope that all this information will help to all of you to increase you fill rate to 100% and in consequence your benefits. If someone know more techniques to increase the benefits no doubt to write to me and I will add to my android tutorial.

Income Report #13 (February)

hi,

This last month  I increased my income a little bit, exactly  5,37 %.  So I have made an Income of 45,11 $. I’ts a good result if you have in mind that February have 2 days less than January. This month will be the first month of my secont year with android :) Ihope that at the end of the year i will have a positive balance greater than 1000 $.

The active application number  increase a (14,5 %) and the total ads impressions increase very much for third month consecutive (9,28 %). With all this numbers I a’m very happy and I have arrive to the month objective that I stablished to 45$. So for next month I hope to arrive to 50$.

This month I have beggined to intall Flurry to my applications. Flurry is an application that helps to extract more analytics about the applications. But just at the end of the month the android market have updated his stadistics and now are more extensive. So I think not continue with flurry, it’s enough with andorid market analytics.

The test application added in Jetgear have 0 downloads so I can deduce is not a good place to increase my downloads.

For the Next month i thought I will win more than 50 $, I think that because at the end of the month I have created 2 new applications so for this month my objectives is continue updating my applications with new lenguages and more options and try to launch a new application, but I woldn’t have too much time because this month I will search a job very hard an will move to a new home, yes a beautiful home near the sea :)
